Happy New Year & Updated Dinx Schedule for Early 2026

Happy New Year everyone! We wish you all a happy, healthy, and prosperous 2026. As we move into the new year, we are temporarily removing or adjusting some events from the Dinx schedule. The main reasons are that attendance has been low for certain sessions and the weather has not been cooperating, making outdoor courts unsafe and unreliable.

Below we first outline the sessions that have changed. A complete overview of all current sessions can be found at the end.

Our goal is to focus on fewer, better-attended sessions while keeping what works and what makes Dinx special.

Mondays: Learn & Play at Mariahoeve

Host: Joris (changed format)

The Monday Learn & Play session remains a 90-minute, training-focused session at Mariahoeve.

• The group is split into two levels
• 19:00–19:45
  • Group 1 trains
  • Group 2 plays
• 19:45–20:30
  • Group 1 plays
  • Group 2 trains

This format allows for more focused coaching while keeping all players on the same side of the courts. If there are fewer than 8 players, we may still split the group based on level.

Wednesdays: Champion of the Court – Indoor at SilverDome (Zoetermeer)

Host: Timo (new indoor session)

From Wednesday 14 January until Wednesday 1 April, we have 3 indoor courts every Wednesday from 19:30–21:30 at Silverdome in Zoetermeer (with the exception of 28 January).

These evenings use fun, competitive formats. Players are placed on a court based on skill level and move up or down depending on results, keeping games balanced and competitive throughout the night.

Tuesday & Thursday Evening Sessions

(paused temporarily)

Because of unpredictable winter weather conditions, the Tuesday and Thursday evening sessions are paused until 1 April. We’ll reassess these once conditions improve and participation increases.

50+ Sessions

We are pausing the 50+ sessions on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 10:00–12:00 until 1 April. The outdoor courts can be unpredictable in winter, so we're taking a break until the season starts again.

The 50+ indoor session on Tuesday mornings from 10:00–12:00 at Mariahoeve will continue.

Sundays: Sunday Sweet Social at Mariahoeve

Hosts: Tenielle and/or Josh (unchanged, but important)

The Sunday Sweet Social will remain:

• All levels welcome
• Outdoor at Mariahoeve
• Weather-dependent

This is our special social event for everyone, and we did not want to remove it from the schedule.

League Update

We recently ran a poll about starting a league, and we’re excited about the interest. Unfortunately, Silverdome does not have 3 courts available for a league setup, so we are waiting to start until we find a location with at least 3 courts.

Starting a league is a big wish of ours, and we will make it happen soon—either outdoor from April 1, or possibly earlier indoors at a yet-to-be-found location. We’ll keep everyone posted.
