Where do you play at Dinx Pickleball?

We play on the outdoor courts at Sportcentrum Mariahoeve in The Hague. We have access to multiple courts where we organize social play, training sessions, and competitive sessions.

What happens if it rains or it's very windy?

We decide on the day (checking local radars). At least 2 hours in advance, we'll confirm whether the session goes ahead or is cancelled. You'll receive an update via Spond/WhatsApp.

Do I need to bring my own paddle?

No, you don't have to! We have paddles available for beginners and new players. For your intro, you can come without your own equipment. If you come to play more often, we recommend getting your own paddle.

Can I join as a beginner?

Absolutely! Pickleball is perfect for beginners. We organize special sessions for new players and offer introductions. Our community is very inclusive, and experienced players are happy to help beginners. Within a few minutes, you can already join in!

What are the costs to participate?

Costs vary by session type. Social play sessions usually cost €10 per person. For training and competitive sessions, costs may be slightly higher. We also offer season passes for regular players. The intro is €10, and we credit that €10 toward your first session if you continue.

How do I sign up for a session?

Members RSVP through Spond before the session deadline (you'll be waitlisted if it's full). New to Dinx? Book an intro first — €10, credited back toward your first session if you continue — at dinxpickleball.nl/intro.

How do I pay?

Everything runs through Tikkie, usually after the session. Social play is €10 per session, or €50 per month for unlimited regular sessions. The intro is €10 (credited back if you join).

What are the different session types?

Social Play (all levels mixed), level-specific sessions (e.g. 3.5+ and 4.0+), host-run formats like Champion of the Court and Drill-and-Play, and the beginner intro on Sunday mornings.

I already play tennis or padel — where do I start?

Start with the Sunday morning intro — book it via dinxpickleball.nl/en/intro. With a racket-sport background you'll pick the game up fast, and after your first sessions we'll place you at the right level quickly.

What if I can't make it to a session I signed up for?

Let the host know via Spond or WhatsApp, ideally at least 2 hours ahead. Cancelled sessions aren't charged — but for intros and lessons the hosts come specifically for you, so please cancel in good time.

Do you play through the winter?

Yes — we're an outdoor club at Mariahoeve and play year-round. In the colder months we sometimes move to an indoor hall (the Mariahoeve indoor hall, Duinoordschool, or Silverdome) as a fallback, but outdoor is always the default. Dress warm.

Can you run a clinic for my company or group?

Yes — we run group clinics for companies, teams, and friends. Request one through the clinic form on the website and we'll get back to you within 24 hours.

Can I rent a court myself?

Yes. Anyone can book a pickleball court directly at Sportcentrum Mariahoeve via Playtomic for €15/hour including paddles and balls — no membership needed.
